PROFIL KONSELOR DAN IMPLIKASINYA BAGI PENGEMBANGAN PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING

Abstract

Abstract: School Counselor is demanded to own a set of per-sonal, social and professional competence equipments to im-plement its function and role effectively to suit with some changes in education world recently. This article identifies counselor competence through analyzing literatures and result of studies. The identification has important implication related to counselor preparation program especially in the aspect of education level that should be reached by the coun-selor candidates. The analysis result shows that S1 degree, as recently hold, is regarded insufficient anymore.
