PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG DHF TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN PENCEGAHAN DHF PADA SANTRI PONDOK PUTRI WILAYAH MILAQ AL-QODIRI JEMBER
Abstract
Health education is a process of change in human beings that has to do with the achievement of individual and community health goals. Health education is not something that can be given by someone to another person and not a series of governance that will be implemented or the results to be achieved, but a developmental process that is always changing dynamically where a person can accept or reject new information that has to do with the goal healthy life (Nyswander, 1947 in Azwar 1983). This research method used pre-experiment design with one group pre-test-post-test. Sampling used the total sampling technique with total sample 58 students who met the criteria. This research instrument used a questionnaire. The results of the study with the Wilcoxon test (α = 0.05) showed that there was an effect of health education about DHF on knowledge on preventing DHF. The results of univariate analysis before health education that had good knowledge of 4 (6.9%) and after health education were known to students who had good knowledge for DHF prevention as many as 39 (67.2%). The Wilcoxon test showed that P value is 0.000. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of health education about DHF on knowledge of prevention of DHF.
