Pengaruh Work Meaning Terhadap Work Engagement Pada Karyawan Perusahaan PT. Haka Tjaya Utama

Abstract


Perusahaan sering mengalami masalah dengan karyawan yang memiliki performa yang buruk. Banyak karyawan sering mengalami adanya burnout sehingga untuk mengurangi masalah tersebut perlunya pengembangan akan work engagement pada karyawan. Work engagement dapat mengurangi adanya burnout pada karyawan dan meningkatkan performa pada karyawan. PT. Haka Tjaya Utama merupakan perusahaan minuman yang mengalami masalah dalam performa karyawan yang diakibatkan oleh perasaan work engagement yang kurang. Work engagement dapat ditingkatkan dengan pengetahuan akan work meaning. Penelitian ini menggunakan intervensi berupa training pada karyawan perusahaan sehingga dapat meningkatkan work engagement pada karyawan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh intervensi yang diberikan bisa mempengaruhi work meaning dan work engagement pada karyawan perusahaan. Intervensi yang diberikan menggunakan acuan dari alat ukur The Work and Meaning Work (WAMI). Hasil penelitian menemukan perubahan signifikan pada work engagement (sig. < 0.05) karyawan perusahaan namun tidak adanya perubahan pada work meaning (sig. > 0.05). Peneliti berasumsi bahwa hal ini dikarenakan adanya faktor lain diluar pelatihan yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil penelitian. Pelatihan yang diberikan perlu dikembangkan agar menjadi lebih baik.
