KARAKTERISTIK, PELUANG DANBENTUK INVESTASI INDUSTRI DAN PERDAGANGAN DALAM PERUMUSANSTRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN PEREKONOMIAN DI KABUPATEN PONOROGO

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The integration of inter-sectoral development within a region needs a plan and strategy to achieve the desired growth. To turn it into reality it should be further studied whether spatial investment in the region can have an impact on the development of industry and commerce and / or territory by "compag" or clusters can provide multiplier to the development of investment in industry and trade. The purpose of this study are (1) To know the characteristics of industry and trade  in  Ponorogo  regency;  (2)  Analyzing  opportunities and  forms  of  industrial  and  trade investment in Ponorogo Regency; (3) Formulate development strategy of industrial and trade investment in Regency. Analytical methods used: (1) descriptive analysis; (2) Location Quotient Analysis (LQ); (3) investment analysis and (4) FFA (Force Field Analysis).

The  results  of  this  study  indicate  that  the  characteristics of  industry  and  trade  in Ponorogo  Regency  is  seen  from  the  potential  of  superior  commodity  base  on  food  crops, plantation, horticulture and farming in each region. The strategy of developing industrial and trade investment in Ponorogo Regency is the development of infrastructure, tourism and sustainable agribusiness.
