From the results, a person's soft competency is known. However, it is not enough for development of a talent. There needs to be a transformation of this method so that it becomes more comprehensive. This study wants to reveal development center opportunities in employee talent development based on the evaluation results of assessment center that has been carried out so far. FGD was chosen as the data collection method while data analysis was carried out through thematic analysis. The result found that development center can be an answer that can improve the assessment center where feedback is an integral part of assessment center process series. Data were collected sequentially with quantitative methods where participants filled out an IDP comprehension questionnaire and qualitative method by conducting semi-structured interviews with selected participants to deepen their understanding regarding the given feedback and IDP. Total participants were 39 employees. The results showed there was no significant difference regarding participants' understanding of their assessment results from the two different feedback agents. Although there were some differences in the experience of participants in the process of receiving feedback, in general, participants understand about the development that will be planned through IDP. In order to optimize the impact of feedback, several things are necessary to be considered i.e. feedback need to be delivered in personal situation and aligned with concrete behaviors at work, and it is important to monitor and evaluate the progress achieved by the employee.
2023-05-29T15:52:35SE Asia Daylight Time Copyright (c) 2023 Insight : Jurnal Pemikiran dan Penelitian Psikologi http://jurnal.unmuhjember.ac.id/index.php/INSIGHT/article/view/RRR Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in Terms of Family Functioning in College Students 2023-05-30T09:33:28SE Asia Daylight Time Arcivid Chorynia Ruby arcivid.ruby@umk.ac.id Prapti Madyo Ratri prapti.madyo@umk.ac.id Min Yatul Rahma minyatulrahma@gmail.com This research aims to examine the correlation between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in terms of family functioning. The research was carried out using a quantitative method and using a clustered random sampling technique. The sample used was 234 Christian high school students in Surakarta who were in grades 1, 2 and 3. The measuring instrument of this study used the Fear of Missing Out scale and the Phubbing scale. The data analysis method used is the non-parametric correlation of Kendall Tau with the help of SPSS 21.0 for windows release. The results of data analysis showed the correlation coefficient value of 0.317 with p = 0.000 (p <0.05). This proves that there is a positive relationship between Fear of Missing Out and Phubbing, the higher the Fear of Missing Out, the higher the Phubbing behavior that appears.
