Abstract

Quality is the key to success, and one of the ways to promote the qualified education at school is through performing a better teaching and learning activities. Through these, teachers are obliged to comprehend the purpose of learning to meet the expected outcome of the learning process itself. This has become even increasingly important for inclusive schools of those who are deaf. Mathematics is considered as difficult subject, therefore, an innovative teaching technique is a demand to enhance the students’ maximum capacity of learning in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Here, we try to implement the model of cooperative learning through Think, Pair, and Share to facilitate and promote the students to interact with each other. The experimental research design is implemented by operating Pre Experimental Design using One Group Pretest-Posttest Technique. The data analyses uses t-test with non parametric statistics with the level of significance of α = 5%. The analyses of the data resulted in t-test is of 3.66, and 3 for t- table of db = db = N – 1 is of 2.353. The result of the study shows that there is a significant impact in the implementation of Think, Pair, and Share techniques for the students in terms of time management and the quality of students answer toward students’ learning outcome in mathematics subject.
